   Our Faith

While us within The Priestly Society of The Inner Christ the Light; We acknowledges as its Sole Head, Jesus Christ, our Savior. It looks to the written Word of God; the Holy Scriptures and to the presence, power and energy of the Holy Spirit to prosper its creative and universal redemptive work in the world. As well we highly stresses our form of sacramental, evangelical, biblical, universal and Christ-Based style of ministry from our laity and to our clergy. We still hold to certain premises of the Christian Faith that we hold  to that we maintain the boundaries as a Sacramental Universally Catholic Non-Papal priestly society. We maintain and hold to being within the historical apostolic succession that we maintain that helps us stay within the historical Catholic and Apostolic Christian Church, which is our right and duty as Sacramental Christians to do.

In accordance with the teaching of our Lord and the practice among early Christian Church, it recognizes seven ancient sacraments-

Baptism
Holy Communion ( The Eucharist),
Confirmation (Chrismation),
Marriage (Holy Matrimony),
Anointing of the Sick ( Holy Unction) ,
Reconciliation (Confession),
Ordination (Holy Orders)

THE UNIVERSALITY OF GOD AND MANKIND

We believe in God, the Father almighty and universal that he is Love, and Power, and Truth, and Light; That perfect justice rules the world; unknowable in His fullest glory, the Creator of all that is, was, and shall be in action: in everything, everywhere, always, at once that all His sons shall one day reach His feet, however far they stray.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, who was born, was divine that lived as a man among humankind, and taught us the sublime example of life better lived, by whose example, the true teacher, all spiritual authority and leadership by his Father in heaven, example, and Savior of the world, that we may be saved; who was crucified by the hand of mankind's sinful and jealous nature, and who rose again to sit at the right hand of the Father.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who comforts and protects all those who call upon the God the Divine; who exist through and among us all and among the entities of the Divine and by whose hand the faithful may perform the supernatural miracle in the name of God.

We believe in the divine wisdom, the Sophia, the companion of the Father, by whom regents rule and the mighty decree justice and love to all; who was with the Father in creating and forming all creatures and things, and delighted to be in his company; by whom all are blessed who seek her and are cursed who hate her, as it is written.

We hold the universality humankind; we know that we do serve Him best when best we serve our brothers and sisters. In all of these things we believe in the pursuit of a better understanding of the Divine in us and around us . Lest our belief ever become a hindrance to the pursuit, we pray for the aid of God. So shall His blessing rest on us and peace for evermore

Tenants of the Faith

  1. The Priestly Society of The Inner Christ the Light teaches the existence of God, infinite, eternal, transcendent and immanent. He is the one essence from which all forms of existence are derived. 'In him we live and move and have our being' (Acts 17:28).

  2. God manifests in his universe as a Trinity, called in the Christian religion Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three Persons in one God, co-equal and co-eternal; the Father the cause of all, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Word who was made flesh, and dwelt among us, the Holy Spirit the life-giver, the inspirer and sanctifier.

  3. We believe there is one God, whose nature is love; revealed in one Lord Jesus Christ, by one Holy Spirit of grace, who will finally restore the whole family of mankind to holiness and happiness.

  4. We believe that God, as the moral governor of the universe, will bestow righteous and equitable rewards and punishments upon all mankind according to their several characters or deserts; but that all punishment will be remedial, and consequently limited.

  5. Christ ever lives as a mighty spiritual presence in the world, guiding and sustaining his people. The divinity which was manifest in him is gradually being unfolded in every man until each shall come 'unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ' (Eph. 4:13).

  6. Our role model is the Christ, in the form of a human being and deity, and  through his  real historical teachings that he taught in Palestine, Our Lord Jesus Christ, is our example of real potential of love, devotion and surrender to be realized in everyday living through the perceptions of the senses and mind; a happy self-discipline, constantly dwelling in the peace that passes understanding.

  7. The Holy Spirit works in todayís world, and that the Spiritual Gifts of prophesy, knowledge, tongues, healing, and more as found scripture. To one person, a particular gifts is given, to another person a different gifts is given, But all spiritual gifts are given for the fulfillment of God's purpose, to His Glory, and for the edification of his people, and the service of his Church, and loving service to all people.

  8. We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments contain a revelation of the character of God, and of the duty, interest, and final destination of all mankind and is the revelation of righteousness, truth and love.

  9. We see the Nag Hammadi additional witnesses of Christ's ministry and God's love to those who wish to read them in their daily lives.

  10. We believe in the importance of the indispensable necessity of repentance, that is, godly sorrow for sin, and a true change of the heart, mind and soul.

  11. We believe in the new birth, or a change of heart, affected in the soul by the believerís cordial belief of the Gospel truth, accompanies by sanctifying influence of the Holy Spirit.

  12. We believe the authenticity, genuineness, and inspiration, of the Holy Scriptures; that both the Old and New Testaments contain the revealed will of God and that the Bible is the only and sufficient rule of faith and practice and is sufficient for faith and practice when it come to the spirit of the law, not the letter of the law. Where the Bible speaks we speak, where it is silent we are silent.

  13. Mankind is a complex of spirit, soul and body. The spirit of mankind made in the image of God is divine in essence. Therefore he cannot cease to exist, he is eternal and his future is one whose glory and splendor have no limit.

  14. The world is the theatre of an ordered plan, according to which the spirit of mankind, by repeatedly expressing itself in varying conditions of life and experience, continually unfolds his powers. This spiritual enfoldment takes place under an inviolable law of cause and effect. 'Whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap' (Gal. 6:7).

  15. Mankind is a link in a vast chain of life extending from the highest to the lowest. As he helps those below him, so also he is helped by those who stand above themselves on the ladder of life, receiving thus a free gift of grace. There is a communion of saints, just men made perfect or holy ones, who help mankind. There is a ministry of angels.

  16. We believe in the importance of good works, not to purchase salvation, or gain the love of God -- for salvation is of grace alone, and God loves even his enemies -- but as the natural fruits of the gospel cordially received, the evidences of indwelling grace, and because they are good and profitable to men. Thus is our duty to love God and Man 'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment and the second is like unto it, thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and Prophets'. (Matt.22:37-40).

  17. We believe in a just and equitable, and at the same time, a parental administration of the divine government; in which God renders to every man according to his works, so that he that does wrong shall receive for the wrong which he has done, and there is no respect of persons. Beyond this state of rewards and punishments, we believe a state of immortal felicity will be conferred upon the whole human family, as a free gift, by the infinite grace of the Father, through Christ Jesus.

  18. It is the duty of mankind to learn to discern the God in himself and others, that light 'which lighteth every man' (John. 1:9).

  19. We believe in the universal resurrection of the dead; for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

  20. Because humankind are sons and daughters of God they are brothers and inseparably linked together. That which harms one harms the entire brotherhood. Hence a man owes it as a duty to the God both within himself and others, first, to endeavor constantly to live up to the highest that is in him, thereby enabling that God within himself to become more perfectly manifest, secondly, to recognize the fact of that brotherhood by constant effort towards unselfishness, by love of, consideration for, and service to his fellow-men.

  21. We believe, that holiness and true happiness are inseparably connected; and that believers ought to maintain order, and practice good works, for these things are good and profitable unto men.

  22. We believe in a life and immortality for the whole human race beyond the grace, where the mortal shall put on the immortality, and where man can die no more, but shall be as the angels, and the children of God.

  23.  We believe that, in the fullness of time, God will bring together all things in Christ, when, in the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of things in heaven and in earth, and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father; when, as by one man's disobedience, many are made sinners, so, by the obedience of one, shall the same many be made righteous; in one word, when Christ shall have taken away the sin of the world, accomplished the great mission on which he came, done the will of God, seen the fruits of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied, and GOD BE ALL IN ALL.

  24. The service of humanity, reverence for all life and the sacrifice of the lower self to the higher are laws of spiritual growth.

  25. Christ instituted various sacraments in which an inward and spiritual grace is given to us through an outward and visible sign. There are seven rites which may be ranked as sacraments, namely, Baptism, Confirmation, the Holy Eucharist, Absolution, Holy Unction, Holy Matrimony, Holy Orders. The doctrine of these sacraments is sufficiently set forth in the authorized Liturgy of this Society. For Christ, is the living head of the church which he had founded, is the true minister of all sacraments in the Church.

  26. We belief in the actual, real, and true mystical presence of the Lord Jesus Christ; body, blood, soul, and divinity; in each and every portion of the Eucharistic Elements of bread and wine; from the moment of their consecration in the Liturgy until the moment of their dissolution. We does not identify the process by which this miracle transpires as the Lord Jesus has not seen fit to reveal a mechanism. we simply accepts that this mystical truth.

  27. We belief that historical Apostolic Succession, vested in the validly consecrated bishops, and passed on by them in the Sacrament of Holy Orders, is necessary for the licit and efficacious celebration of the sacraments.

  28. We believe in preaching Christís universal redemptive message of love and hope and The Mission of the Church as expressed in the Gospel Verses of Matt. 28: 19-20 and Luke 4:18-19

  29. We believe in the power of prayer and potency of meditation and spiritual practices

  30. We affirm the capacity of each person to have mystical experience with God, and enjoy the grace of God.

  31. We believe in the blending or converging of the Christian traditions of the sacramental, evangelical, spirit-filled and universal is seen by those involved as the work of God the Holy Spirit imparting a spiritual operation of grace best captured in the vision of Psalm 46:5,6: "

  32. We believe that in according with sacred tradition declares its belief that the Bishops of the Church are each successors to the Apostles and hold the teaching authority granted to the apostles by Jesus Christ. This authority is not vested in any single bishop regardless of office or position but is equally and jointly held by all bishops.

  33. We believe in being stewards of this planet

  34.  We believe that God is good and omnipresent is based upon universal spiritual principles as demonstrated and taught by Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior as well as the historical figures such as Buddha, Danika, Lao Tzu.
